The Panthers took a tough loss Thursday night being shut out by Sweetwater 30-0.
The Panthers gave some good team effort on offense towards the end of the 3rd quarter and through out the 4th when they drove the ball for more then 12 minutes. Unfortunately they were unable to get into the end zone but the drive was fantastic.
Defensively the Panthers did good. They gave up a few long plays that allowed the Mustangs to get out in front. Hondo Marquez stepped up and played outside linebacker to fill an empty spot and did a terrific job!
Panthers will prepare for next week as they travel to Lamesa.
