FRESHMAN BLUE SLIP BY BUCKS 22-20

The 9th grade Blue slip by the Bucks of Alpine 22-20. The Panthers started off slow giving up 3 scores in the first half but after some adjustments at half the Panthers looked like a totally different team the second half. The scoring went as followed: Daren Ureste with the TD, points after failed, Jerry Gonzales intercepted the Bucks QB and ran 20 yards for the TD, 2 points by Daren Ureste, Pedro Gonzales scored the last TD with Daren Ureste adding the 2 points. Then it was time for the Defense to step up with 4 minutes left in the game they held Alpine and Daren Ureste intercepted the ball which turn the ball back to the Offense, to run the clock out. record 6-1 on the season and next game Thursday October 17 at home against Monahans.
